Role Summary
Supervise (on a daily basis) area operations team ensuring that shipments enter and exit the country in accordance with network procedures and transit time standards.
Reports To

Area Operations Manager

Responsibilities
Maintain good working relationships
Co-ordination, discussion and communication
Assist to keep performance and meet target
Problem Shooting and Improvement
Assist to keep performance and meet target
Problem Shooting and Improvement
Ensure all service they provided meet DHL’s requirement
Ensure hand over processes of shipments and paperwork are normally operated
Special Request handling
Communication for daily working process
People Management
Organise appropriate shifts and manning levels to meet business requirements.
Ensure incoming shipments are recovered, “break bulked”, inspected and cleared in the quickest, most efficient manner possible.
Is focused on identifying and understanding each customer’s needs. Expresses and acts on desire to assist customers in an efficient and friendly manner.
Sets clear and realistic goals and objectives. Establishes a course of action and a sequence of steps to ensure that activities and objectives are efficiently achieved. Is structured with good personal organization. Schedules time effectively and uses efficient work methods and tools.
Makes timely and appropriate choices based on accurate analysis and experience. Uses sound judgment even in conditions of uncertainty. Anticipates impact of decisions and plans how to manage risk.

First Aid certified
IATA Dangerous Goods Acceptance Certification
Software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Communication skills (English), spoken and written
